Triprotect-ethylene-500 characteristics

Dosage and application
The expected lifetime of the fluid in professionally operated systems is 10
years. We recommend that you check the appropriate frost protection (freeze
resistance temperature with a refractometer) and pH every two years.
The use of the product in closed heating and cooling systems guarantees
efficiency, in the case of open heating systems, consult with the manufacturer,
due to a possible increase in the inhibitor active ingredient content, which
can be achieved by dosing with our P100 Premium Inhibitor!
Before use, the concentrate of the heat transfer medium is diluted with
water to the temperature that ensures the desired frost protection. The
concentrate is made for dilution with treated water, can be diluted with
treated water to a ratio of 1:4 (but can be increased to a ratio of 1:1, taking
into account the specifications of the pump and device manufacturer), contains
a mixture of inhibitors and antibacterial (biocidal effect) substances. Mixing
must be done before filling the liquid into the system, at least 30 minutes
before filling: after diluting with treated water, the water with
antifreeze concentrate must be continuously stirred in a suitable container or
barrel to ensure proper mixing. The antifreeze temperature is checked with a
refractometer! Borax-free material. The presence of the inhibitor can be easily
checked with the Mo-100 Kit (molybdenum tester). When mixed with properly
treated water, it exerts its maximum corrosion protection, guaranteed effect!
Do not mix our antifreezes with each other!
To avoid electrochemical corrosion, please do not forget to ground the
pipework and appliances (EPH) and to separate dissimilar materials with a
dielectric intermediate screw.
Mix ratio
Maximum dilution 1:4
- In the case of a 10-liter package, when added to a maximum of 40 liters
of treated water produced with a DEMIN-1500 demineralization unit, a maximum of
50 liters of liquid can be obtained.
- In the case of a 25-liter package, when added to a maximum of 100 liters
of treated water produced with a DEMIN-1500 demineralization unit, a maximum of
125 liters of liquid can be obtained.
Dilution
TE500 : treated water 1:1 / 1:1,5 / 1:2 / 1:3 / 1:4
Frost-free temp. -34°C / -23°C / -17°C / -11°C / -8°C
TE500, because it is based on ethylene glycol and can
be diluted up to 5 times as much with treated water for a heating medium with
adequate corrosion protection and antibacterial properties.
Safety precautions
The product contains a dangerous substance: ethane-1,2-diol.

It is an additive based on ethylene-glycol, therefore it is DANGEROUS
to use it in building systems containing hot water heat exchangers. Its use is FORBIDDEN
in the technological systems of the food industry! In these cases, please use
our non-toxic additive based on propylene glycol TP500!
Storage
Keep tightly closed in its original packaging.
Store between +10°C and +25°C in a dry and well-ventilated place.
If stored properly, the product can be stored for 24 months.
