These heaters with AISI316L stainless steel heating element and AISI304 flange can be used for heating water in open and closed enamelled and stainless steel DHW tanks. The heating elements are soldered directly into the mounting head. The heating element is provided with a 1,7m power cable without plug.

The heater is equipped with tubular heating elements operating at 3 x 230 V. It has a thermostat, stepless temperature control and a thermal cut-out to protect the heater from overheating. The thermostat control dial and indicator lights are located on the heater head. The lower part of the housing terminates in a 1 1/2" threaded metal head with hexagonal tabs for a 60" wrench, which facilitates screwing the heater into the internal threaded hole of the tank.

In the case of water heating systems in which the glycol (propylene- and ethylene glycol) dilution does not exceed 10%, the electrical heating element can be used, with the use of an inhibitor additive.
